Our ELV solution is a combination of all the other listed solutions/systems customised to meet the need of the building industry, especially at the construction and major refurbishment stages.

Our design and deployment objectives are to think of all the ELV building services as an integrated and seamlessly interoperable system, sharing the same structured cabling system, and the same (Internet Protocol (IP) network. The solution is based on open standards and it can be customised to every business and needs – from single to multi-tenant, multi floor buildings; from residential to commercial buildings. Indeed, it is so suitable for the hospitality industry.

Physical Layer

Consists of Cabling pathways within Access floors and ceilings voids, Wiring/equipment cabinets and racks, Clean (UPS) power, Structured Cabling Systems (UTP (Copper) and Multimode Fibre), Coaxial Cable for SMATV and Fire Rated/Resistive 1.5mm or 2.5mm cable. By designing for and installing one single cabling system for all the ELV services substantial cost and time savings are achieved, and integration is assured. The latest technology of all the listed services are geared towards using the same UTP Category 6 Copper and Multimode fibre cables.

Network Foundation Layer

This is where the IP Protocol is introduced. Most existing LAN will readily support voice (VoIP) and data applications, but adding services like video for surveillance, for entertainment or for conferencing) posts another level of challenges. For a video to be successful, the network must deliver IP packets with very low loss thresholds while maintaining acceptable latency and jitter. This must be considered right from design stage. Beyond the IP-based connectivity the LAN Switches at the Network Foundation layer support Power over Ethernet (PoE), through which most endpoints like IP Surveillance cameras, door’s Access controller & readers, IP Phones, IP-TV Set Top Box (STB) are powered.

The ELV Services including

IT Network: This consists of the properly configured IP connectivity services (through wired or wireless means) to building’s/office’s computers.

Voice and Unified Communications: This consists of some or all of the systems described under our Communications and Collaborations Solutions section. It covers IP-based call control, IP-Phones, IP-Gateways and other devices and software necessary for unified and complete, all media, communications within and outside the office.

IP-TV (Video Entertainment Service): IP-TV means Television (mostly HD) via IP Network. This system of TV distribution offers an organisation an integrated solution for television, telephony and Internet in the same network, achieving a better Management of the Communications.

CCTV (or Video Surveillance), Access Control systems, Intrusion Detection, Building Automation (Monitoring or Management) System (BAS): These are as described in our ESSS solutions section. They include CCTV, Door Access control, Physical Access Control like Turnstile, Rising-Kerb, Vehicle Barrier, Metal Detectors, BAS and so on.

TDM-PBX: For the customer who desire the traditional TDM PBX or hybrid (of IP and TDM) telephony system. For this we partner with local VAR of Panasonic, Alkatel or NEC PBX

Public Address/Voice Alarm & Evacuation system: Consisting of controllers, Amplifiers, Music and Message sources and recorders and speakers.

Most IT and ESSS equipment are backed by manufacturer’s warranty ranging from 1 to 3 years. Manufacturers like Cisco Systems offer additional warranty service. Cisco called itSmartnet that are renewable yearly. . See our service section for detail.
