ICT NETWORK PHYSICAL INFRASTRUCTURE (NPI)

Network Physical Infrastructure (NPI) is the foundation upon which Information Technology (IT) and telecommunication networks reside.
It is the “backbone” of the business, as its elements provide the:

How Important is the ICT Cabling and other Physical Infrastructure?

In a network, cable cost comprises 5% of the total network costs, but contributes to 50% of downtime. Having a reliable vendor who can maintain a network infrastructure on a timely basis is crucial to your business. Since computer network technology is constantly evolving (computer speeds double every 18 months), it is critical to select a NPI contractor who stays current with emerging technology and can provide, maintain, and evolve the infrastructure network to support your IT networking requirements.

Contact NPI Department of ICST Solutions Limited for more information about optimizing the physical infrastructure of your business’ ICT network and cabling systems.

Why An Integrated Cabling Solutions?

There’s a revolution going on with entire extra low voltage and low voltage building systems driving by Internet Protocol (IP). This is allowing building systems like voice, data, security, AV, lighting and HVAC to communicate with each other to provide significant cost savings and sustainability over the life of the facility, while improving overall user experience, wellbeing and productivity. These and now with Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence are making more devices than ever converge onto a common IT infrastructure. Viewing NCPI as a whole rather than as individual components is essential to designing and deploying such an integrated system.

The Benefits of using us

Our solutions are based on Standardized product, architecture and implementation procedure. For example:

TIA’s TR-42 Cabling Standard For ICT

We use TIA’s TR-42 Telecommunications Cabling Systems standards for telecommunications cabling infrastructure in user-owned buildings, such as commercial buildings, residential buildings, homes, data centers and industrial buildings. The standard covers requirements for copper and optical fiber cabling components (such as cables, connectors and cable assemblies), installation, and field testing in addition to the administration, pathways and spaces to support the cabling.

British’s BS 5839 For FAS and VAS

For our Fire Alarm System (FAS) and Voice Alarm System (VAS/PAS) cabling we use British Standard’s BS 5839 Part 1: Code of practice for design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of systems in non-domestic premises.

Our world-Class Design & Installation Are By Well-Trained and Certified Engineers and Installers

Training and Certification BY BICSI and Manufacturers

As a corporate member of BICSI, our workmen are primarily trained and certified, and continuously retrained and certified in vendor-independent design, integration and installation of all components of NPI including, pathways, spaces, cabling (optical fiber- and copper-based), wireless-based systems and data centre infrastructure. BICSI is a professional association supporting advancing the information and communications technology (ICT) community.

Quality Assurance Manual

From project preliminaries (including shop drawings), to product sourcing and deliveries, to actual installation, to cabling testing and certification, and to post-installation support and maintenance, we are guided by our Quality Manual. Our Quality Manual outlines the standards and procedures that will ensure that the projects are managed and executed in a manner consistent with the customer’s expectation and the worldwide best practises. We are enthusiastic by what we do and we are driven by the passion to excel in customer satisfaction at all time.
